| 1) The TPC is making a continuous beeping noise and does not function! |
Answer |
|
The power supply is faulty and needs to be replaced.
|
| 2) I press the buttons on the TPC and nothing happens, or it appears to be frozen? |
Answer |
|
The front touch panel is faulty and needs to be replaced.
|
| 3) The squeegee/floodbar move up and down when I manually move the trip bar (electric head machines), however, the motor will not turn! |
Answer |
|
Most likely caused by the overload in the inverter being tripped. Check if the red light is on, if so, completely remove power from the machine, wait 1 minute and turn it on again, this will reset it. Then check the limit switch is functioning correctly.
|
| 4) When the TPC is set for 2 or 3 passes, it only does 1 full print then a 1/2 and not a full one. |
Answer |
|
The trip bar needs to be tightened.
|
| 5) Machine shaking just before it lifts? |
Answer |
|
Most likely damper needs to be adjusted, or replaced. Possibly the "slotted plate" is worn and should be replaced.
|
| 6) The machine is lifting slightly out of position. |
Answer |
|
The rotate out sensor needs to be adjusted.
|
| 7) The machine (PIN actually) make a "clunk" while it is turning. |
Answer |
|
The PIN up sensor is set to low, and needs to be moved "up" until the "clunk" stops.
|
| 1) Error Fixed! |
Answer |
Cause: The error which was previously detected has been fixed
Fix: The error which was previously detected has been fixed
|
| 2) ERROR! Table not up or down |
Answer |
Cause: Both the Lift Up and Lift Down limit switches are off
Fix: With the machine in the "down" position try to move the "lift down sensor" up and down. If the light does not "illuminate", check the connections. If they seem ok, try changing the sensors. With the machine in the "up" position, try the same as above, except move the "lift up sensor".
|
| 3) ERROR! Waiting for LIFT DOWN |
Answer |
Cause: Lift Down limit switch has not been activated
Fix: With the machine in the "down" position try to move the "lift down sensor" up and down. If the light does not "illuminate", check the connections. If they seem ok, try changing the sensors.
|
| 4) ERROR! Waiting for LIFT UP |
Answer |
Cause: Lift Up limit switch has not been activated
Fix: With the machine in the "up" position try to move the "lift down sensor" up and down. If the light does not "illuminate", check the connections. If they seem ok, try changing the sensors.
Also it is possible that a signal is not being supplied to the "lift valve" or possibly the lift valve is defective / faulty (you could recognize this by the fact that the light on the valve comes on without the valve opening).
|
| 5) ERROR! Waiting for PIN DOWN |
Answer |
Cause: Pin Down limit switch has not been activated
Fix: Possibly the "pin" is stuck in the "up position". Try to turn the tables by hand. If they can move, then assume the "pin" is not stuck. Try to move the "pin down sensor" until the light comes "on". If the light on the sensor does not come "on", try to replace it.
|
| 6) ERROR! Waiting for PIN UP |
Answer |
Cause: Pin Up limit switch has not been activated
Fix: Press the "lift / lower" button from the end of any print arm, does the bin move up and down?
If not, check the "pin valve", maybe the "valve" is not getting a signal or maybe it is defective. If the light on the "valve" illuminates and the pin does not move, assume the valve is faulty.
With the pin in the "up" position, try to move the sensor up and down, if the light on the sensor does not illuminate then check the connections, if they are ok, then try changing the sensor.
|
| 7) ERROR! Waiting for ROTATE IN |
Answer |
Cause: Rotate Return limit switch has not been activated
Fix: With the machine in the "home" position, check if the "rotate in" sensor is illuminated. If not, try to move it until the light on the sensor is illuminated. If it does not illuminate, then try changing the sensor.
|
| 8) ERROR! Waiting for ROTATE OUT |
Answer |
Cause: Rotate Out limit switch has not been activated
Fix: FOR PNEUMATIC ROTATION - Do the tables turn at all? If so, see below. If they do not turn, check to see if the rotate valve is receiving a signal (does the light on the valve illuminate?).
With the machine in the "out" position, check if the "rotate out" sensor is illuminated. If not, try to move it until the light on the sensor is illuminated. If it does not illuminate, try changing the sensor.
FOR ELECTRIC ROTATE - Is the "Green Light" on the inverter illuminated? If not, check the voltage supply to the inverter.
|
| 9) PIN DOWN limit switch is STUCK |
Answer |
Cause: Pin Down limit is stuck on
Fix: Change the "Pin Down" sensor.
|
| 10) PIN UP limit switch is STUCK |
Answer |
Cause: Pin Up limit switch is stuck on
Fix: Change the "Pin Up" sensor.
|
| 11) Release STOP Button |
Answer |
Cause: Stop button is pressed
Fix: Release the stop button on the TPC.
|
| 12) SAFETY LINE OPEN Join to continue |
Answer |
Cause: Safety Line is OPEN
Fix: Join the safety line.
|
| 13) Safety Fixed |
Answer |
Cause: Safety error has been rectified
Fix: Safety error has been rectified.
|
| 14) System RESET Check power. |
Answer |
Cause: TPC power source has received a large disruptive transient
Fix: The power supply in the TPC needs to be changed.
|
| 15) **** STOP! ***** Shutdown |
Answer |
Cause: Stop button has been pressed
Fix: Stop button has been pressed.
|
| 16) Error on Head xx Limit sw = closed |
Answer |
Cause: Expected head limit switch activation/deactivation has not been detected.
Fix: Check the limit switch on thep rint arm indicated.
|
| 17) Error on Head xx Limit sw = open |
Answer |
Cause: Expected head limit switch activation/deactivation has not been detected.
Fix: Check the limit switch on thep rint arm indicated.
|
| 18) LIFT UP limit switch is STUCK |
Answer |
Cause: Lift Up limit switch is stuck on
Fix: Change the "lift up" sensor
|
| 19) LIFT DOWN limit switch is STUCK |
Answer |
Cause: Lift Down limit switch is stuck on
Fix: Change the "lift down" sensor
|
| 20) ROTATE IN limit switch is STUCK |
Answer |
Cause: Rotate In limit switch is stuck on
Fix: Change the "rotate in" sensor
|
| 21) ROTATE OUT limit switch is STUCK |
Answer |
Cause: Rotate Out limit switch is stuck on
Fix: Change the "rotate out" sensor
|
| 22) Rotate OUT Error Pulling in |
Answer |
Cause: Rotate Out limit switch has not been activated
Fix: With the machine in the "home" position, check if the "rotate in" sensor is illuminated. If not, try to move it until the light on the sensor is illuminated. If it does not illuminate, then try to change it.

Answer |
Cause: Head Valve output has received a short to ground
Fix: Check the wiring for the head valve indicated, check it at the rear of the control box, and check it at the valve.
|
| 24) OUTPUT SHORT on LIFT valve |
Answer |
Cause: Lift Valve output has received a short to ground
Fix: Check the wiring for the lift valve, check it at the rear of the control box, and check it at the valve.

|
| 27) OUTPUT SHORT on ROT-IN valve |
Answer |
Cause: Rotate in valve output has received a short to ground
Fix: Check the wiring for the rotate valve, check it at the rear of the control box, and check it at the valve.
|
| 28) OUTPUT SHORT is INTERMITTENT! |
Answer |
Cause: One of the TPC's outputs has been shorted to ground for a short period
Fix: Check the wiring at the rear of the control box, possibly a wire has shorted to the metal.
